Scheduling Coordinator

Cupboard Wagon operated by TriTech Services Group, Inc is a small business located in Richland, PA. We deliver custom cabinetry in the northeast region. We are a team of uniformed delivery men who strive to be the best in the business and who are known for their excellent customer service and our ability to move cabinets as efficiently as possible. Primary Role: Under general supervision of the Operations Manager, assign drivers to cover required pick up of cabinet loads at the manufacturer(s), routing/delivery cabinets to end customer(s) and building out trucks for delivery; schedule and coordinate efficient and effective schedules; generate and maintain necessary records – load sheets, trip sheets, customer paperwork; handle complaints on routing and scheduling; assist and provide support to operations manager; perform other related duties as assigned. Secondary Role: In this role the individual will bring their freight brokage and dispatching experience to build out a new business service line. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation planning and logistics, with knowledge of Transportation Management Systems, Load Boards and the know-how of working with Freight Brokers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule, dispatch, and assign drivers to appropriate routes. Adjust routes as required in response to customer needs. Provide assistance and guidance to drivers regarding routes, schedules, directions, and related activities. Maintain contact with drivers and contractors by telephone and other means of communication and advise on situations in the field that arise. Analyze routes for efficiency, recommending and implementing changes as needed. Qualifications: Knowledge of: Transportation routing, scheduling, and building out of trucks including utilization computers system applications, dispatching software, load boards, and freight broker relationships Education/Training/Experience: Completion of 12th grade, or any combination of education, experience, and training which meets or exceeds the standards of knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above. Having experience with prior dispatching software applications is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, and email applications are a plus. Licenses/Certificates: Valid Class C Driver’s License is the minimum requirement and plus to have requirement Valid Class A/B Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements and medical certificates.
