Plow drivers assist our field employees in clearing roadways and other paved surfaces. In this position, it is necessary to have strong communication skills and understand effective snow clearing. We are open to all those who have operated plow trucks in the past in any areas. Experience in large commercial to mixed used sites are a plus! Knowledge in operating heavy-duty salters is also a plus.As a rapid growing company, we always offer opportunity to grow for those interested!Plow Truck DriverPosition Responsibilities:Operation of a plow truckClear snow from roadways, parking lots, loading docks, driveways, etc.Utilize equipment in a safe mannerRead and understand snow mapsSpread salt and deicers utilizing spreaders if neededAssist snow removal team in loading and unloading materials and suppliesAbility to re-fuel and perform basic maintenance to your assigned equipmentProfessionally communicate and work with on-site management and operations teamReturn equipment and safety gear to its designed area when finishedReport any accidents, incidents, and equipment failures to supervisor immediatelyMay be required to work long shifts (either days or nights) during precipitation events and snowstormsMay be required to be available for emergency response as needed for overtime at night evenings, weekends, and holidaysEffectively communicate with office team confirming scheduling availabilityBe available and arrive on time when scheduledBenefits:Weekly paymentDirect DepositHigh Starting PaySafety GearHands on TrainingReferral BonusOpportunity to growStarting Pay: $35 an hourQualifications:Snow Removal Equipment Operation Experience of 2-3 yearsValid Driver's License (Class A CDL License is a PLUS but not required)General knowledge of storms and efficient snow cleanupMust have own transportation to and from the job siteKnowledge in operating heavy duty salt trucks is a plusAvailable to work a flexible schedule from November to AprilAvailable to work nights, weekends and holidays when neededAvailable to work long hours to complete full snow removal and cleanupAbility to work well independently or with a teamStrong communication skills to confirm availability for eventsAbility to adapt in fast changing environmentAbility to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor workPhysical DemandsEmployees are regularly required to stand; sit; walk on a wide range of surfaces; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
