Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Job Description Our organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team in Cooperstown, NY.We are excited to offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus!Additionally, we provide Daily Pay through a reliable third-party service, allowing you quicker access to your earnings.We also offer comprehensive health insurance through Aetna with minimal out-of-pocket expenses.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all supervisory functions for the designated unit.Assist in the development and execution of employee policies and procedures.Guide and mentor junior nurses, providing both clinical and career guidance.Ensure that care standards for the unit are upheld.Evaluate resident records and the quality of care provided.Monitor overall care and assess individual resident cases.Address inquiries or concerns raised by residents or their families.Advocate for the unit's needs with upper management.Qualifications:Must possess a valid RN license from the state.Preferred: 3 years of experience in long-term care.Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse.Proficient computer skills are required.Strong communication abilities are essential.About Us:Our facility is a 174-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing center situated in the scenic Mohawk Valley, just a short distance from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
