Senior Workers Comp Underwriter

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter (Workers Comp). Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate workers compensation insurance applications to determine coverage acceptance or decline Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and industry regulations while documenting risk analysis Collaborate with producers and the underwriting team to achieve production goals and process applications efficiently Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related experience Minimum 5 years of Workers Compensation underwriting or related insurance experience Experience underwriting risks in construction, hospitality, real estate, and manufacturing Relevant certifications such as CPCU, CIC, or Property & Casualty Brokers License are a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
