Our challenges are unique, so we hope you are comfortable in uncharted territory and passionate about building systems to support products across a variety of industries and consumer/enterprise clients.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and optimize low latency, highly available core API servicesBuild backend applications while working cross-functionally with teams across the organizationAssist in developing a platform and SDK for internal teams to build their servicesWork with the Swish infrastructure team to optimize the existing API service architecture and strategyParticipate in code reviews and knowledge sharing with teams and team membersInfluence the technical direction of distributed services at SwishQualificationsBachelor Degree in CS/CE/SE or relevant experience3+ years of production level API / Microservice developmentA creative mind for solving technically difficult problems in both standard and non-standard ways1+ years of production experience with languages like NodeJS & Python1+ years of production experience with databases both relational and non-relationalPassionate about reliability, high availability, automation, observability, coding standards and global scalePreferredProduction experience with Software Engineering at a global levelInterest or experience in Rust or GOProduction experience with stream-processing paradigms like KafkaProduction experience with Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with sports dataBase salary: $150,000 - $190,000Swish Analytics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
