Registered Behavior Technician
Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician for a school located near Newark, Delaware. The RBT will provide services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to implement behavior intervention plans, support academic engagement, and promote positive student outcomes. The RBT will also be supporting student(s) in accessing their educational program in alignment with their Individualized Education Program (IEP).Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the supervising BCBAProvide direct 1:1 support to students with behavioral or developmental needsCollect accurate data on student behavior and progress toward goalsAssist in developing and reinforcing academic, social, and daily living skillsSupport classroom teachers in maintaining a structured, positive learning environmentUse evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis strategies (e.g., reinforcement, prompting, redirection)Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when neededMaintain confidentiality and comply with school and Behavior Analyst Certification Board guidelinesCommunicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progressAn active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required in order to apply. Experience working with children in an ABA setting is preferred. Familiarity with IEP goals is recommended. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations is desired.
