Manufacturing Engineer with Security Clearance

Please find below the job details:Title: Manufacturing Engineer – (21020-1)Client: Lockheed Martin Location: Palmdale, CADuration: 12 Months+ CTH (Performance Based) Salary: Open Summary:• Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and author manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. • Leverages understanding of materials and processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. • Evaluates performance of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. • Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. • Works within a model-based engineering environment (3DX). Position requires periodic travel.• Must have extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing operations. • Must have the personal attributes conducive to work within an IPT (Integrated Product Team). • Must have the ability, technical background and confidence to work independently and make critical program decisions. • Preferred experience with complete integrated air vehicle designs. Required Experience:• Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain SAP within 6 weeks of submission.• Minimum 3-year experience with 3DX usage• Minimum 10 year cumulatively working with structural assembly / fabrication tools for aerospace vehicles or similar• Highly proficient in GD&T and blueprint reading• Familiar with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures• Development/ protype/ first article, program support (new product introduction)• Metallic part machining working knowledge Desired Experience:• Tool fabrication• Authoring tool usage instructions or assembly work instructions• Manufacturing engineering type production floor support• Aircraft assembly Required Experience:• Recent experience with Catia V5 or 3DX (at least 3 years in the last 5 years).• Minimum 10 year cumulatively designing structural tools.• Minimum 7 year cumulatively industry aero experience.• Experience creating 2D technical design drawings (Blueprints).
