Nurse Practitioner (UHC)Universal Health Corporation (UHC) is seeking a full time and/or part time Nurse Practitioner to deliver exceptional patient care at its post-acute care facilities in your community. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the successful management and care coordination of their assigned patient population. UHC provides extensive training and Medical Director oversight to ensure all providers are prepared and supported with the resources necessary to meet the needs of their patients. Successful candidates will be energetic, efficient, and able to work independently.Job duties of the Nurse Practitioner include but are not limited to:Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patientsCommunicate with nursing staff and collaborating physician/specialist regarding patient careChart daily visit notes in an electronic medical record in a timely fashionThe position is structured as follows:Full-time positions are paid a salary plus quarterly bonus; part-time positions are paid an hourly rateMonday Friday, day shift onlyLimited call coverage, all by phoneExperience and Qualifications:Clinical experience in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, or General PracticeNew graduates are welcomeMinimum one-year experience, preferredCurrent Virginia License and unencumbered DEA License, requiredSelf-motivated, directed, flexible and a team playerPositive attitude and customer service orientation
