Manager, People Attorney Strategy
The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.Responsibilities:Serve as a primary advisor to Practice Leaders, Partners, and Attorneys on people strategy initiativesCoordinate key talent cycles including performance reviews, partner/counsel selection, and pipeline meetingsOversee internal communications and align departmental initiatives with firmwide prioritiesManage customized career development programs for attorneysOversee associate and counsel evaluation processes, ensuring meaningful feedback and development plansRequirements:6+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environmentBackground in talent strategy, attorney development, practice management, HR, or related areasBachelor’s Degree requiredExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skillsExperience with budgeting, workforce planning, and resource allocationAbility to lead change initiatives and influence organizational culturePartner with staffing leaders and practice management on resource allocation and utilization planningProvide leadership with updates on staffing needs, utilization trends, and operational priorities
