Full Job Description
Midtown mid-sized CPA firm with heavy specialization in not-for-profit clients seeks Tax Director. This is a partnership Track Opportunity.
Responsibilities
Direct all aspects of the firm’s not-for-profit tax practice
Review 990’s 990PF, 990-T, and 5500, as well as applicable state filings
Review of Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S and state filings for a fast growing for-profit client base.
Review 5500’s
Make presentations to clients
Perform tax research
Qualifications
CPA or JD
Management experience in a CPA firm
7+ years experience
Compliance experience with non-profit organizations
Hands on experience with review and preparation of Form 990, Form 990-PF and state charitable registrations.
Experience with Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S and state filings
Knowledge of unrelated business tax, private inurement/benefit and other tax-exempt/non-profit organization issues preferred.
