Let's take a closer look at the role.Job DescriptionTA Services is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with at least 2 years of CDL driving experience. The route will be two trips per day from Janesville to Mineral Point.Shift: Flexibility a MUST3PM-1AMResponsibilitiesTransport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centersPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenanceEnsure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policiesSafely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsReport vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptlyWork EnvironmentFast-paced, on-the-road and loading dock environmentsExposure to outdoor weather conditionsPhysical work, including occasional lifting, climbing, and extended sitting while drivingPerks & HighlightsLate-model Kenworth trucks (T680 day cabs, 2022 and newer)Manual transmission equipmentDrop and hook runs - no touch freightNo Electronic Logging Device (ELD) required for this position (per DOT regulations)Consistent hours - average 50+ hours per weekYearly performance-based raisesHome daily - no overnightsQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperienceMinimum of 2 years of CDL drivingPrevious experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferredFamiliarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and basic vehicle maintenanceComfortable with GPS and route planning technologyBasic Requirements:Must be at least 23 years oldNo DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 yearsNo more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 yearsMust pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screenAbility to operate a manual transmissionPersonality TraitsTeam player with a positive attitudeWillingness to jump in where needed"Whatever it takes" mentalitySafety-minded and dependableAdditional InformationPay/Benefits$27.50/hrAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
