Maintenance II

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services across the facility while delivering excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendorsPerform maintenance and repairs on:Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systemsGas and electric water heaters and furnacesInspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipmentDismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired partsConduct preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsRepair and maintain facility infrastructure and resident accommodationsOperate machine tools (e.g., lathe, drill, grinder, milling machines)Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely mannerFollow all safety protocols and wear required PPEReport safety hazards and incidents immediately Required Skills & QualificationsExperience in one or more of the following trades:PlumbingElectricalCarpentryWelding / metal fabricationBoiler, hydraulic, or HVAC systemsAssociate's degree or 6 months to 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination)Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectivelyBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios)Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude Physical RequirementsFrequent walking, tool handling, and communicationOccasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancingAbility to lift:Up to 35 lbs regularlyUp to 65 lbs with assistanceAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environments Work EnvironmentExposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditionsOccasional exposure to chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibrationModerate noise levels Additional RequirementsMust successfully complete a background check and Live Scan fingerprintingClearance must be obtained prior to employmentRequirement is due to working in a senior living environment Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
