Overview MCS Account Manager role: primary contact and advocate for assigned customers to optimize production to meet or exceed cost, quality, and delivery targets within Core Publishing Solutions.
Responsibilities Proactively build relationships with internal and external customers.
Facilitate transfer of documents, copies, and samples among MCS and production departments.
Monitor job status and communicate as needed.
Follow up to ensure dates are met.
Represent customer and manufacturing interests and needs in all decisions.
Capture and report customer feedback.
Identify and report recurring problems.
Provide quotes and perform system testing as necessary.
Lead special projects to improve workflow, systems, processes, and procedures.
Lead tours of the manufacturing facility and train other guides.
Perform Material Requirements Planner 2 responsibilities as assigned.
Coordinate and verify specifications, materials, and scheduling for each job.
Identify process requirements for finished good production orders.
Determine lot sizes for general shipment and replenishment orders.
Create and release production orders, communicating all details necessary for accurate production.
Forecast products in SAP.
Maintain material master data.
Collaborate with production and other internal departments.
Serve as a resource to Production Account Coordinators.
Support other production needs as requested (e.g., flex labor needs).
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent with some experience in a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
High proficiency in SAP.
Experience recommending and taking ownership of process improvements.
Knowledge of printing methods, equipment capabilities, and material requirements.
Knowledge of scheduling and forecasting processes.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and logical skills.
Some experience in customer service or account representative roles.
Some experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing and/or printing.
Benefits Shift differentials: $4.00 per hour for 2nd shift, $5.00 per hour for 3rd shift.
