Job description Teckshop Inc. We have opening for Automotive Technician / Dot Inspector. Looking for motivated individual who wants to work hard and make money. Most of our customers are fleet vehicles which consist of F-450 (Gas) Aerial Ford Trucks and medium duty vans (GMC, FORD, CHEVY). We are looking for someone who can diagnose as well as perform mechanical services. Daily services require one to perform vehicle maintenance, ball joints, tie rods, oil changes, tires rotations, tire replacement, change lights, swap transmissions, alternators, radiators, electrical (batteries, trailer wiring, marker lights, inverters), engine repair, DOT inspections, and hydraulic repair. Job Description Need to be able to perform variety Automotive Repairs on (F450, Medium Duty Vans) examples: oil changes, breaks, ball joints, track bars, engine swaps, tune ups, and ect. Be able to Diagnose vehicle problems. Be able to read, write and retain information to perform DOT inspections Maintain and repair Aerial Devices, Automotive vehicles, and other equipment Complete DOT and Aerial Lift Inspections and Repairs. (Complete Training program) Maintain accurate records of all service, repair Job Requirements Clean Driving Record (NO DUI) Have own tools. (Tool buying program in place to further your career) Work outside when need to. At least 3 years of Automotive repair experience · Hydraulic and DOT experience a plus. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical systems, vehicle electrical systems, vehicle computer systems, vehicle suspension, steering, braking, and air conditioning systems Work on all types of vehicles including manual, automatic, and hybrid vehicles Perform routine maintenance work on vehicle electrical systems (engine, air conditioning, transmission, etc.) Repair or replace broken or damaged parts with a higher quality replacement Clean and inspect vehicle mechanical systems and electrical wiring Provide customer with products to maintain the quality of their vehicles Experience: 2 years of experience in the automotive field (preferred) High School diploma or GED required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Good driving record with no traffic violations Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
