Bus Monitor

DescriptionPURPOSE: To provide support to the bus driver and students on bus route.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:• Ability to pass DOT physical fitness assessment.• Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.• Assists students with disabilities in getting on and off the bus and in maintaining a safeenvironment while on the bus.• Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.• Operates and checks the wheelchair lift daily.• Ensures all students have exited the bus at conclusion of route.• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director ofTransportation or his/her designee may assign.Work Schedule: Monday to FridayWork Location: In personBenefitsLink to Beech Grove City Schools Classified Handbook:
