Senior Full-Stack Engineer

You'll join a stable, remote-first SaaS company building case management software for personal injury law firms. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll deliver high-quality features on a predictable schedule while collaborating with a distributed team across the Americas. What You'll Do Build and ship full-stack features using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and modern front-end technologiesWrite comprehensive automated unit and integration tests for all codeDeploy to production daily using trunk-based development and feature flagsParticipate in daily standups and bi-weekly sprint planning sessionsCollaborate with Staff Engineers who help guide and unblock your workMentor Associate Software Engineers through pairing and code reviewInstrument features for observability, monitoring performance and errorsWork with QA engineers to ensure quality through manual and automated testingParticipate in pair programming sessions (encouraged but optional)Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows on Google Cloud Platform Who You'll Work With Report directly to the Director of EngineeringCollaborate daily with your squad (5-6 engineers, QA engineer, Staff Engineer)Partner with Product Managers and Designers in sprint planning and standupsCoordinate with Engineering Project Manager (product owner/scrum master)Engage with the broader engineering team of 12+ developers across time zones What We're Looking For Strong experience building production full-stack web applicationsExpertise in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQLProven ability to deliver features on schedule with high qualityStrong written and spoken English (professional Spanish is a plus)Pragmatic "get stuff done" mindsetExperience with automated testing and CI/CD practicesComfort working remotely and asynchronously across time zonesCollaborative approach to problem-solving and knowledge sharing Our Stack Backend: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, SidekiqFrontend: Hotwire (Turbo, Stimulus), React, Tailwind CSS, Material UIMobile: Hotwire Native (iOS/Android)Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitOpsTesting: Ruby & RSpec (unit/integration), Playwright (QA automation)Tools: VS Code, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Figma, Miro, Jira, SlackApproach: Server-side rendering with progressive enhancement, trunk-based development, feature flags, daily deploys
