Locum Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology / PA

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 60-90 day short term, full time hours, contract in Virginia! This candidate will be starting around the end of April! Guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week! Paid Mal Practice, Housing, Rental Car, Mileage, Travel and MUCH MORE! This is an Inpatient GI role performing consults from the floors or Emergency Department and rounding on service line patients that are admitted. No outpatient at all! This is Monday through Friday with possible weekends! 7am - 6pm Each day. The candidate can be a Board Certified ACNP or Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. · Conduct histories, physicals, pre-procedural assessments, and discharge summaries · Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests · Prescribe medications and perform procedures within your scope of practice · Partner with physicians, nursing staff, and technicians to continually improve patient care standards · Educate and counsel patients and families about prevention, treatment, and ongoing health maintenance Job Types: Full-time, Contract License/Certification: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (Preferred) Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Physician Assistant License (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Virginia (Required) Ability to Relocate: Virginia: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Remote
