Job DescriptionLocation: Fort Cavazos, TexasPosition Type: Full-Time (Preferred) | Locum / PRN Considered | Anesthesiologist (1099)Overview:Opportunity for an Anesthesiologist to provide inpatient anesthesia services within a structured, collaborative medical environment supporting service members and their families. Civilian contractor role - no military service required.Texas medical license is required (licensing support available if needed).Practice Highlights:• Provide full-scope anesthesiology services across surgical and selected non-surgical cases• No CRNA supervision required• Self-scheduling, approx. 160 hours/month considered full-time• Participate in OR coverage and perioperative care• Support clinical operations and documentation standards• Engage in care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, including obstetricsCandidate Requirements:• MD/DO, completion of ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency• Board Certified in Anesthesiology• Active unrestricted Texas Medical License & DEA• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (no online-only certifications)• Minimum 2 years of recent anesthesiology practice experience (within past 3 years)• Proficiency with anesthesia procedures, ventilator management, airway care, and perioperative assessmentSchedule & Coverage:• Full-time preferred; PRN considered for local candidates• Self-schedule model - flexible• Pager call required• Initial credentialing estimated: 45-60 daysCompensation & Benefits:• Hourly (1099)• Contract length: 1 year preferred (extension opportunities available)• Support available for Texas licensure process if not current• EMR & workflow orientation providedWhy Fort Cavazos, TX?Located just north of Austin with access to major city amenities, affordable living, and a strong community environment.How to Apply:
