DSP (Direct Support Professional)

New Beginning's Adult Residential Homes is looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our amazing team of professionals in the Pasadena, CA area! Direct Support Professional: New Beginning's Adult Residential Homes provide direct care and support services to individuals who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities. No experience needed will train upon hire. Direct Support Professional Job Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive in Pasadena, CA Ability to work independently or as a part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work in a busy environment Flexibility to work on days, evenings, weekends or holidays based on the needs of the individual facility Direct Support Professional Work Responsibilities: Assist with feeding, dressing, bathing, grooming, transferring (sitting in the bed or chair), and transferring (sitting in the bed or chair) patients daily. Assist with medication administration in accordance with all state and federal regulations. Documenting all services provided and assisting patients with paying bills.
