You are the primary architect of the guest’s experience at the table, responsible not just for executing service, but for creating the kind of unhurried, deeply personal dining and keeps guests returning year after year. ResponsibilitiesTable Service & Guest ExperienceDeliver polished, course-by-course service with precision and warmth, guiding guests through Mita’s menu with confidence, passion, and deep product knowledge. Narrate dishes with authority and authenticity, communicating the provenance, technique, and cultural context of the food in a way that elevates rather than lectures. Read each table with attentiveness and discretion calibrating pace, tone, and interaction to the unique rhythm of every group of guests. Anticipate needs before they arise: a refilled glass, an adjusted cover, the right moment to present the next course. Manage the full arc of the guest experience from arrival to farewell, ensuring every transition is seamless and every touchpoint reflects Mita’s standard of excellence. Food & Beverage ExpertiseMaintain comprehensive, current knowledge of the menu: ingredients, preparations, allergens, and the stories behind each dish. Partner with the Beverage Director to guide guests through wine and cocktail pairings with fluency. Participate actively in pre-service tastings and briefings, arriving at every shift informed and prepared. Qualifications1+ years of fine dining or upscale restaurant service experience required; Michelin-starred or comparable environment strongly preferred. Fluent knowledge of classic and contemporary service technique; wine and spirits literacy is a plus. Genuine warmth, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect authentically with a diverse range of guests. Grace under pressure and composure in a fast-paced, detail-intensive environment.
