Echo Tech Location: Tennessee Agency: Medix Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Medix is looking for a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment. We work closely with our facility clients to ensure a seamless match for clinicians. Location: Tennessee Facility Type: Public Start Date: 6/15/2026 Length of Assignment: 13 weeks Schedule: M-F 7:30am - 4pm CST State License Needed: Echo Tech Pay: Rate ranges and possible stipends are available to be discussed with your recruiter to ensure a package that meets your needs. Responsibilities Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) in accordance with established protocols and physician orders Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams, and ensure patient comfort and safety Acquire accurate, high-quality cardiac images and measurements Recognize and document abnormal findings and communicate critical results to the interpreting physician Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning Manual dexterity to operate ultrasound equipment Ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients as needed Preferred: Vascular Tech Experience Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
