Deburr - 1st Shift
Job DescriptionWorking under direct supervision, the Bench Grinder/Deburr - Level 1 operator performs basic deburr operations such as edge breaking and simple surface finishing tasks using deburr tools such as swivel and straight edge knives and pneumatic tools employing deburr pads to hand finish part surfaces. They will also demonstrate basic competencies in interpreting and following work instructions, including work orders and manufacturing orders, and completing shop transactions in the relevant ERP system after instruction.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Basic Deburr TasksBasic Break edges on Aluminum and/or Titanium componentsPerform basic deburr tasks (Blend minor chatter marks & mis-match areas)Knows which tools are requiredEnsuring tools are ready for use (sharpening of tool, fit for use)Sharpness of toolFit for useOther Duties as Assigned Required Skills: Demonstrated mechanical aptitudeAbility to learnAbility to read and understand technical drawings after receiving trainingPunctualityAbility to operate handheld pneumatic and power toolsExperience & Education High School Diploma or equivalent0-1 years of experiencePhysical Demands & Working Condition May be required to move items up to 35 pounds.Daily duties may require sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, operating, and manipulating hand tools.Daily duties may require extended duration of walking.Exposed to a Manufacturing setting with heavy machineryMeet Your RecruiterChristy WylieStaffing ManagerChristy has been in the staffing industry since 2005 and joined the American StaffCorp team in Claremore in 2018 as a Staffing Professional.
