Alphanumeric Systems | Long-term Pharmaceutical ClientAlphanumeric is hiring an Epidemiologist to support our global pharmaceutical client of 20+ years, dedicated to advancing innovative therapies and improving patient outcomes worldwide.Pay Rate: $55-$61/hour (W2)No third-party candidates or agencies. Must be eligible to work on Alphanumeric W2.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvance disease understanding to support drug development, including:Incidence, prevalence, risk factors, and natural historyTreatment patterns, comorbidities, and co-medicationsOutcomes, phenotypes, biomarkers, and unmet medical needsVariations across demographics and geographic regionsSupport clinical development by:Defining target populationsContributing to protocol designSupporting patient recruitment strategiesEnsuring accurate patient medical history data collectionContribute to safety and risk evaluation, including:Background event rate estimationEvidence synthesis (including meta-analyses)Identification of high-risk patient populationsSupport post-marketing surveillance, including:Risk evaluation and mitigation strategies (REMS)Signal detection and epidemiologic investigationsPost-authorization safety and effectiveness studiesGenerate and interpret real-world evidence by:Designing and executing epidemiologic research plans and protocolsAnalyzing large healthcare databasesCritically evaluating published literature and internal dataRequired Qualifications5+ years of epidemiology experience in:Pharmaceutical/biotech industry, orAcademic or government research settingProven experience applying epidemiologic methods to support:Drug safety and effectivenessNatural history of diseaseClinical development programsDemonstrated success leading pharmacoepidemiology research initiativesStrong ability to communicate complex scientific findings clearly to:Cross-functional teamsSenior stakeholdersScientific audiences (publications, conferences)EducationPhD in Epidemiology (preferred) or related field:Public HealthHealth Outcomes ResearchHealth Services ResearchBiostatistics or Pharmaceutical SciencesAbout Alphanumeric Systems Inc.Alphanumeric is a dynamic company born of a diverse mindset and held to a distinctly high standard.
