Project Engineer

Job Title: Project EngineerLocation: Jacksonville, FLRoles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and/or modify engine harnesses for aerospace applications.Plan and manage new-product development projects, following established processes.Manage project scope, scheduling, resource coordination, risk identification, and progress tracking to ensure on time and on budget delivery targets are achieved.Lead and/or support engineering design reviews, ensuring all requirements are met, including compliance to standards and procedures.Develop new technical solutions independently or collaboratively, building upon proven methods, past designs, and organizational best practices.Work closely with engineering and business leadership and cross functional teams to communicate project status, present results, and align engineering activities with strategic objectives.Resolve issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.Collaborate with others to solve problems, exchange technical information, ask questions, and incorporate new learnings into scope of work.Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or collegeDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral communication skillsStrong technical writing skillsProficient with MS Excel, Project, Word, PowerpointAbility to document, plan, and execute projects with multiple tasks
