Director of Banquets

We’re currently searching for a seasoned and imaginative Director of Banquets to oversee the front and heart-of-house teams at our 1 HOTEL HANALEI BAY. Our Director of Banquets will support each member by actively participating in day-to-day operations, managing guest requests, and setting everyone up for success, from the start of the banquet to the very last goodbye. Qualifications: About you... Passionate about hospitality and food and beverage and has a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience working in banquets, with a min. of 3 years in a leadership capacity. Having a post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus. Advanced knowledgeable of banquet operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excels at communication, both verbal and written. Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
