Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of authentic Brazilian dishes, including grilled meats, salads, and side items Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Support meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools Assist with food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, rotation, and freshness of ingredients Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and uphold quality standards Contribute to menu planning by providing feedback on dish preparation and presentation Requirements Prior experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Demonstrated kitchen experience within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong food handling skills with knowledge of food safety regulations Proven ability in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Excellent knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques specific to grilling and meat carving Experience with catering or large-scale food service is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Passion for authentic Brazilian cuisine and eagerness to learn new culinary skills Embark on an exciting culinary journey with us!
