Location: Kiel, WIHours: Monday through Friday (Start between 4:30a and 5:30a, End between 2p and 3p)Pay: $24.25/hrSign-On Bonus: $2,000Position SummaryThe Water Spider (Material Handler) plays a critical role in supporting production efficiency within the foodservice assembly department. This position is responsible for ensuring that assembly lines are consistently supplied with the necessary parts and materials by picking, transporting, and delivering items from the stockroom or warehouse.Key ResponsibilitiesPick parts and materials from the stockroom or warehouse based on production needs, work orders, or pull listsDeliver and supply materials to designated areas within the foodservice assembly department in a timely mannerMaintain proper inventory flow to prevent shortages or production delaysMonitor material levels on the floor and proactively replenish as neededEnsure accuracy of picked items, including part numbers and quantitiesAssist with organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient stockroom/warehouseCommunicate with team leads and production staff regarding material needs or issuesFollow all safety procedures and company policiesBecome certified in forklift operations within VollrathPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the shiftFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials (up to 50 lbs)Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, carts), if required
