This position is 100% remote.State or federal government experience is a HUGE PLUS100% REMOTE OPTION.65$ W2 only.Tasks and DeliverablesReview functional requirementsCreate technical design documentsTransform software designs and specifications into secure, high functioning code in Java and document solutions Integrate individual software solutions to applicable systemsTest code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessaryPerform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficientCommunicate and incorporate business owner’s visions, business plans, and key objectives Provide development and related operations, maintenance, and production support Foster a culture that supports and drives staff engagement and collaboration in support of State objectivesEstablish, manage, and leverage business and technology relationships both internal and externalProvide knowledge transferMinimum QualificationsSeven (7) years’ experience in Java Programming/Development roleA Bachelor’s degree (4 year) substitutes for seven (7) years, or an Associate’s degree (2 year) substitutes for two years’ experience.Four (4) years’ experience working with state government health insurance systems on its’ insurance benefit enrollments Five (5) years’ experience developing in Java using Spring MVCTwo (2) years’ IBM integration Bus (IIB) experienceOne (1) year IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise) experienceDesired SkillsThree (3) years’ StreamEDSOne (1) year Drools experienceComputer Science or Information Technology degreeProven experience and demonstrated proficiency providing analysis and development/programming using (5 years for each):
