The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and aiding in the maintenance of a heavy industrial machine and fabrication facility. This role involves daily cleaning of shop floors, machinery, and associated work areas to ensure compliance with operational efficiency and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain shop floors by removing metal shavings, oil, and other debris using brooms, rakes, and shovels.Collect and properly dispose of scrap metal, trash, used rags, and other waste in designated containers.Clean machinery and equipment. Remove metal shavings from machinery and wipe down equipment using proper solvents or cleaners.Maintain walkways and work areas by ensuring aisles, exits and workstations are clear, organized and free from hazards.Assist with machinery maintenance by replenishing lubricants and replacing filters as needed.RequirementsMust have valid Oregon driver’s license.Must have reliable transportation.Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 50-75 lbs.Must be able to remain on feet for extended shifts while walking, kneeling, and crouching.Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred.Experience working in machine shops or other manufacturing facilities is preferred.BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancement and ongoing training
