IT Help Desk Technician
Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our dedicated IT team. The Help Desk technician will respond to IT requests from staff and provide support where needed, focusing on tracking each request to its resolution in a timely manner. This includes resolving technical issues on both Mac and Windows systems, maintaining and performing administrative functions in various systems used by Fetch staff, and basic troubleshooting of equipment specific to veterinary medicine.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-personTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issuesAdministrative maintenance in various systems used by staffDiagnose and repair computer problemsInstall and configure software and hardwareMaintain and update computer systemsProvide training and guidance to users on new technologiesDocument and track support requestsAssist with IT equipment procurement and inventory managementStay up-to-date on the latest technology trendsCollaborate with IT team membes on projects and initiativesThis position will be based out of the Brandon office, but some travel to the other hospitals may be required. RequirementsStrong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systemsExperience with hardware troubleshooting and software installationBasic understanding of networking conceptsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with both Windows and Mac operating systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with remote support toolsExperience working in technical supportHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredVeterinary experience is a plusCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ are preferred
