The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with marketing expertise to effectively communicate our products' value to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, marketing knowledge with a focus on digital aspects and analysis, technical content development, and hands-on execution to drive our marketing initiatives as we prepare for significant growth due to new regulations driving the drinking water treatment industry.Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, engineering, R&D, field services, communications, and other groups to understand products, services, data and translate them into compelling marketing messages and sales tools such as presentations, data sheets, FAQs, market brochures, one pagers, guides, advertisements, etc. that support and elevate the customer journeyCreate, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for marketing and promotion purposes, including white papers, case studies, tech notes, etc. that clearly align with our marketing messaging and articulate the technical aspects and benefits of our products to best position ourselves in the marketManaging outside vendors for support with marketing collateral creation and other marketing support functionsCoordinate, create, update/edit, and oversee various marketing activities to engage with customers, including webinars, podcasts, blogs, conferences, social media posts, email blasts, videos (demonstration, training, promotional), etc.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape. Conduct in-depth competitive analysisTrack and communicate relevant regulatory updatesPlan, execute (including generation, qualification, and distribution), track, and analyze marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, core messaging, market positioning and lead generation (and capturing via specific customer contact lists, direct marketing, and education) for the Drinking Water Solutions business lineMonitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data to track and to optimize future campaignsPrepare internal reports to effectively communicate projects and results. Internally communicate updates on market information and strategyQualificationsA Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (Marketing or Business Management or relevant technical degree)3-5 years of marketing (e.g., Marketing Strategy, Marketing Collateral and Content), communications, or technical sales experience with a chemical/environmental B2B company is requiredMarketing or communications experience in the water treatment industry is preferredKnowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends is preferredProficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is preferredFamiliarity with commonly used software for marketing and overall purposes: MS Office (including Excel, Word, Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.), Constant Contact, Salesforce/CRM, On24, Asana, Brandfolder/DAM, Google Analytics, etc. is preferredEqual Opportunity EmployerCalgon Carbon is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled/veteranJ-18808-Ljbffr
