Electrical Systems Engineer

About the Role As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product reliability by designing, testing, and optimizing complex electronic systems. You will bridge the gap between initial design concepts and high-quality manufacturing, utilizing your technical expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Design and validate test apparatus to ensure product functionality aligns with rigorous industry standards and customer specifications. Perform comprehensive analysis and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems to identify and rectify performance defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, ensuring seamless production transitions. Manage PCB layout processes, including Gerber modifications and panel design, to optimize manufacturing efficiency. Document technical test cases, progress reports, and design methodologies to maintain high-quality engineering records. Support program management by providing expert guidance on component selection, alternative sourcing, and bill of materials (BOM) creation. Maintain strict adherence to ISO quality standards, proactively identifying and resolving process non-conformities. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. Proficiency in PCB assembly, component selection, and surface mount re-work techniques. Strong experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks for design and layout. Advanced mathematical skills, including calculus, for system analysis and troubleshooting. Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills for documentation and team collaboration. Preferred Skills Proven ability to manage multiple complex design elements simultaneously. Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong initiative and problem-solving drive to meet project deadlines efficiently.
