We're not a corporation — we're a team building restaurants we're proud of, and we want our managers to grow with us.The Role  The Assistant General Manager is the operational backbone of the restaurant. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and ownership to keep the day running smoothly across every daypart—making sure the morning rush lands as well as a quiet Monday dinner, and that the team feels supported throughout. This is a hands-on, people-first leadership role with a clear path to General Manager for the right person. What You’ll Own Operations: Oversee daily front-of-house operations; open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling, checklists, and end-of-day reporting. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop servers, hosts, baristas, and support staff. You’ll assist with hiring and onboarding—building genuine hospitality skills, not just procedural compliance. Scheduling: Write and manage weekly schedules, balancing labor targets with the physical and mental needs of the team. Guest Experience: Maintain a visible, engaged floor presence; handle guest concerns with warmth, professionalism, and good judgment. Financial Support: Support the GM in tracking labor and COGS targets; assist with payroll, tip reporting, and POS management. Who You Are 2+ years of restaurant management experience, ideally in an all-day or high-volume context. A genuine love of food—you care about what’s on the plate and why it matters. Strong with people: you can give feedback directly and receive it gracefully. Familiar with Toast POS systems and 7shifts (preferred). What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
