Research Analyst
Sr Research AnalystNewark, NJ Hybrid 5 Months (Contract to hire)The Sr Research Analyst position will be part of the Impact & Insights team of Client. This role is responsible for the analysis and reporting of online education activities targeting physicians and healthcare professionals with the focus on the Outcomes reporting. The Outcomes reports provide analysis of knowledge, competence, performance and patient impact changes as a result of participation in medical education programs. This role ensures data from CME Outcomes reports are appropriately summarized and strategically-focused within the agreed timeline. This role also requires management of the timelines and delivery to the teams associated with these reports. This position includes collaboration with cross-functional internal teams including sales, content, clinical strategy and analytics and external clinical and patient care experts across multiple therapeutic topics. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, organization, communication, writing, and project management skills to develop reports to internal and external clients to support sales and revenue goals. He/she must have a proven ability to meet deadlines, while being proactive and detail-oriented. Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; BA/BS degree in life sciences, public health, clinical sciences with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in evaluating programs effectiveness and providing actionable insightsExperience in health or education-related research or in certified medical education preferred. This may include medical education/communications company, professional medical publisher, academic institution/ hospital/university center, medical society, etc.Experience with a statistical or data management software (e.g., Tableau, SAS, SPSS, R)Excellent technical writing skillsExperience with healthcare dataExcellent computer skills that includes working remotely on shared networks and cloud-based systemsModerate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPointSuperior ability to describe complex data and results to a non-technical audienceExcellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment, while taking into consideration stakeholders based across multiple time zonesAbility to work well in a collaborative research environment, as well as the ability to work independently with limited supervisionAttention to detail with high level of accuracyPositive attitude/ very high energy with a willingness to accept varied assignmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills:Advanced statistical analyses (e.g., regression)CME/CPD evaluationSQLTableau or PowerBIExperience with claims data
