Hightop Hospitality is seeking a Venue Sales & Operations Manager to join our growing venue and catering division. This is an on‑site, full‑time, hands‑on role responsible for all venue sales activity and day‑to‑day event execution at Green Acres Event Center - a historic barn wedding venue located in Eden Prairie, MN. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and confident, hospitality‑focused professional who thrives at the intersection of venue sales, operational execution, and client relationships. You will be accountable for the full event lifecycle and overall client experience, while consistently meeting venue booking goals. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys accountability, building client relationships, and being hands‑on in delivering memorable events.What You’ll DoSales & Booking PerformanceMeet or exceed monthly and annual venue booking goalsServe as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries and venue toursCreate and present venue availability, proposals, and contracts to prospective leadsActively sell venue offerings, catering services, and event enhancementsPlan and execute sales‑focused marketing events such as open houses, wedding fairs, and toursCapture and submit event highlights, visuals, and content ideas to support social media and marketing effortsVenue Operations & Event ExecutionOversee event planning, coordination, and on‑site day‑of‑event executionManage day‑to‑day venue operations, including timelines, layouts, and event logisticsServe as the primary client contact throughout the planning process, event day, and post‑event follow‑upCoordinate and partner with Hightop Hospitality catering teams, vendors, and internal partners to ensure seamless eventsLead by example to create a professional, client‑ and guest‑focused environment for staff and vendorsAssist with event setup and teardown as neededReporting & AccountabilityComplete weekly and monthly sales and operations reportingMaintain accurate booking, revenue, and event documentationComplete post‑event follow‑ups and report feedback to the Venue DirectorUphold brand standards, service quality, and operational consistencySupport Hightop Hospitality venues and catering teams as needed What We’re Looking ForExperience in venue sales, event sales, or venue/event management with demonstrated success in booking and executing eventsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage contracts, timelines, and event details accuratelyProactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate client, guest, and operational needsDemonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to remain calm, professional, and guest‑focused when navigating last‑minute changes or challengesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneouslyProfessional communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally (event setup and teardown)Full‑time availability to work onsite, with a schedule that regularly includes nights and weekends. Compensation & BenefitsBase salary of $55,000–$60,000 plus commissionBonus potential401(k) with company matchHealth and dental benefitsShort‑term and long‑term disability insuranceLife insuranceCompetitive PTO allowanceCompany laptopCell phone stipendAbout Hightop HospitalityHightop Hospitality is a collection of restaurants, catering, and event venue brands committed to premium food, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality.
