Senior Emulation Engineer Location: Remote or Hybrid from Santa ClaraAbout the Role We are developing next-generation AI compute silicon built for high performance, energy efficiency, and scalable inference. As a Senior Emulation Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating complex accelerator and SoC architectures on emulation platforms ahead of tape-out. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of hardware and software in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.What You’ll DoSet up, maintain, and optimize emulation and prototyping platformsAdapt SoC designs for emulation and FPGA-based prototypingDevelop, enhance, and debug emulation testbenches and system-level environmentsSupport pre-silicon validation, early software bring-up, and power/performance analysisContribute to silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation effortsPartner closely with design and verification teams to identify root causes and accelerate debugImprove emulation workload efficiency and reduce turnaround timeCollaborate with firmware and software teams to enable emulator-based OS and driver testingWhat We’re Looking ForBS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 7+ years of SoC design experienceStrong experience with emulation platforms and FPGA-based prototyping systemsExperience with high-speed I/O interfaces and advanced memory technologiesSolid understanding of digital design, RTL development, and SoC architectureProficiency with hardware debug tools, waveform viewers, and logic analyzersScripting skills in Python, Tcl, Perl, or similar languages for automation and infrastructure developmentFamiliarity with simulation, UVM, and testbench environmentsSystemVerilog and UVM-based verification experience is a plusHands-on software development experience in C/C++ is a plusWhy Join Us You’ll have the opportunity to work on advanced AI hardware, collaborate with highly skilled cross-functional teams, and make a direct impact on the development of innovative compute technologies.
