The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2, although it may vary to a maximum of 3:1 depending on unit and patient needs. IMCU nurses will float only between IMCU and step-down units, with no assignments to Med-Surg units.Responsibilities Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of licensed physicians. Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide individualized care. Direct nursing support staff in delivering patient care according to nursing standards. Monitor patients with IMCU-appropriate diagnoses and conditions. Ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines for patient management.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinical specialty, including at least 2 years in general nursing. Current registered nurse license for PA or MSL Compact is required.
