CNC Operator

We’re looking for CNC Machinists who have a foundation in machining and want an opportunity to continue developing their skills. You’ll work primarily with CNC mills and lathes, including 3-axis mills and Haas equipment, while learning from experienced machinists in a well-equipped manufacturing environment.

Compensation
$5k sign-on bonus (on 2nd shift)
$26 - $32 / hr (including differential)
15% shift differential
Weekly overtime opportunities on Friday
Shift
2nd shift: Monday - Thursday (4x10s) [priority]
1st shift: Monday - Friday (5x8s)
Responsibilities
CNC Machine Operation: Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision machined components.
Production: Load and unload parts, monitor machine cycles, and keep assigned equipment running efficiently.
Blueprints & Work Instructions: Follow prints, job travelers, and manufacturing instructions to complete assigned work.
Quality Inspection: Check finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
Tool Changes & Adjustments: Perform basic tooling changes and machine adjustments with support as needed.
Machine Setups: Assist with or perform setups based on experience level; independent setup experience is a plus but not required.
Training & Development: Participate in hands-on training to develop setup, machining, inspection, and broader manufacturing skills.
Requirements
Qualifications
Required
Some previous CNC machining, machine operation, or relevant technical training
Basic understanding of manufacturing or machining processes
Ability to read basic blueprints or willingness to develop this skill
Familiarity with basic precision measuring tools
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take on increasingly advanced machining responsibilities
Ability to work safely and reliably in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Experience operating CNC mills or lathes
Experience with Haas CNC equipment
Experience with 3-axis CNC mills
Basic machine setup experience
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Technical school, machining program, apprenticeship, or related manufacturing education
Manual machining or other hands-on manufacturing experience
