Laundry Attendant

Laundry House Attendant - HSLNDATT As a Laundry House Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel's linens and guest laundry. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing. Responsibilities: Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and level of soiling. Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironers. Ensure proper use of detergents, softeners, and other laundry chemicals. Inspect linens and garments for stains, tears, or other damage. Treat stains according to established procedures. Fold and press linens and garments neatly and efficiently. Store clean laundry in designated areas. Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of clutter. Regularly clean and sanitize laundry equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Handle guest laundry requests promptly and courteously. Ensure guest laundry is returned in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality of guest belongings. Qualifications: Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads. Knowledge of laundry chemicals and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures.
