Clinical Director (Los Angeles)

Position Title: Clinical DirectorSummary:The Clinical Director provides leadership, oversight, and direction for all clinical aspects within a comprehensive dual diagnosis treatment program. This role ensures services are delivered in alignment with best practices, state and federal regulations, and agency policies. The Director will supervise clinical staff, oversee services at assigned programs, ensure quality care for clients, and contribute to program development and performance improvement efforts.Qualifications:Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related fieldActive, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCCMinimum of 2 years of experience in clinical supervision and/or program management in behavioral health or substance use treatmentKnowledge of treatment models, co-occurring disordersStrong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skillsFamiliarity with DHCS regulationsProficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standardsCurrent CPR and First Aid certifications (or willing to get them)Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee clinical and treatment programSupervise clinical staff such as counselors, therapists, and internsSupervise programs as assignedEnsure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standardsMaintain and update clinical protocols and evidence-based treatment modalitiesProvide supervision to support staff licensure and professional developmentLead treatment team meetings, discharge planning, and crisis interventionsManage clinical intake, assessment, and discharge processesCollaborate with medical, psychiatric, and administrative teams for integrated careParticipate in QA meetings, utilization reviews, and client satisfaction evaluationsDevelop and deliver training sessions to address staff development needsEngage in strategic planning, grant writing, and budgeting effortsPromote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, harm reduction, and client-centered careEvaluate program participants for psychiatric conditions and coordinate behavioral health servicesParticipate in annual strategic planning with executive leadershipMentor therapists and counseling staffPerform all other duties as assigned by executive leadershipMaintain professionalism, compassion, and empathy in client interactionsAttend all mandatory agency meetings and trainingsFollow all attendance, ethics, confidentiality (HIPAA), and safety policies
