If you are up the challenge and interested in turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good, then Jacobs is where you belong.We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mid-Level Civil Engineer preferably in one of our Texas offices but can be located anywhere within the U.S. As a Civil Engineering Professional, part of our Cities and Places team, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform site civil engineering analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world, producing technical reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. Specific Civil design efforts will entail assessing site features and creating site layouts, designing utilities systems and pavements, grading and drainage, stormwater management and erosion & sediment control. Additionally, your expertise will be leveraged to develop project drawing and technical specification deliverables during design, as well as services during construction support during construction phases of work.Our projects bring innovative solutions to our clients worldwide. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi-disciplined design teams, Senior Project Managers, and our clients. If you are up for the challenge, we have been looking for someone just like you.Here's what you'll needBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)Minimum of 8 years relevant professional experience for infrastructure, building/facilities-related site civil design projects.Strong background in plan production and project execution while leading design teams.Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent oral and written communication skills.Construction support services experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skillsIdeally, you’ll also haveAutoCAD Civil3D design experienceExperience developing labor budgets for civil engineering design effortsProject management experiencePractical hands-on experience and/or construction supportExperience with alternate delivery (Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects)The compensation range reflects potential base salary and minimum and maximum target new hire salaries for this position across all U.S. locations.
