Senior Lead Software EngineerBe an integral part of an agile team that's constantly pushing the envelope to enhance, build, and deliver top-notch technology products.As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Commercial and Investment Bank organization - Equities technology group, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.Job responsibilitiesImplements and optimizes CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jules and Jenkins; manage release processes and automationAutomates application deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks using scripting languages (Python/Shell)Leads and supports release rollouts, including Level 3 production support and incident resolutionDrives end-to-end testing, covering both functional and non-functional aspects (performance, security, reliability)Develops a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business flows and the technology stack supporting the Equities OMSCollaborates with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutionsProvides technical guidance and mentorship to business partners, technical teams, contractors, and vendorsInfluences product design, application architecture, and operational best practicesFunctions as a subject matter expert in integration, DevOps, and system reliabilityRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertiseAdvanced experience in scripting or programming languages - Python or ShellExpertise in Integration and DevOps practices including CI/CD (Jenkins and Jules), automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application securityProficient in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithmsExperience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environmentsDemonstrated experience with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS)Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to deliver results across collaborative and cross-functional teamsProven experience in leveraging industry technology trends and best practicesExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldKnowledge of FIX Protocol and trade lifecycle managementExposure to financial services or trading environmentsExperience with AWS cloud serviceAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
