LPN - Correctional Center - 3rd shift
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse – Correctional Facility . This will be full time. Pay Rate: $37.50 an hour paid weekly Shift: 3rd shift - 10pm-6:30am –-5X8 Hour shifts per week - includes every other weekend Benefits : available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment Key Responsibilities: Perform general nursing care and clinical duties in accordance with licensure and training Implement nursing care plans as directed by a Registered Nurse or Physician Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments Assess inmate health needs through observation and report physical and emotional changes Prepare and administer prescribed medications and document all treatments accurately Carry out therapeutic treatments as ordered by medical providers Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures Assist inmates with activities of daily living, including hygiene and basic care needs Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid and CPR as needed Conduct medical procedures such as EKGs and vision screenings Maintain and inventory medical supplies and equipment Sterilize instruments using appropriate chemical and steam methods Assist in preparing reports for injuries, incidents, or sudden illnesses Requirements: Licensed LPN Observe patients and nursing care Providing licensed nursing care to residents Render nursing care to residents Provide direct skilled nursing care Provide general nursing care to patients Becoming a licensed practical nurse Ensure that appropriate nursing care Assisting physician/nurse practitioner in direct patient care functions Provide direct nursing care to residents Providing basic patient care or treatments Providing basic patient care or treatments Provide nursing care on shift Assess resident needs, provide nursing care, evaluate nursing care, administer medications and complete treatments Plan, and deliver nursing care Supervise other nursing and nursing paraprofessional personnel in patient care Sign all medication orders with the medication nurse to prevent medication errors Provide nursing care for residents under clinical supervision Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse Using nursing skills to provide quality patient care Ensure that nursing care documentation is
