Job Code - Development and Operations EngineerWork Location - 1025 LENOX PARK BLVD NE Atlanta GA 30319Duration - 1 year contract initiallyJob ResponsibilityProduction support and second level trouble shooting of incidents for mission critical high-performance applicationssecond level outage response for mission critical high-performance applicationsApplication performance monitoring, troubleshooting and corrective actions for mission critical high-performance applications24x7 support during incidents and outagesonboarding new applications/services for monitoring/support needs, identifying monitoring and dashboarding requirementsPrimary / Mandatory QualificationsOverall Experience: 7+ experience performing Production Support for Mission Critical, high-performance applications4+ years of experience using micro services on Kubernetes and Cloud environmentsExperience with analyzing logs in ELK using Lucene query languageExperience in Java, Python, Shell Scripts, Microservices and Restful API ArchitectureExperience in managing application and setting up monitoring and alerting in AzureExperience in Relational & NoSQL databases like Oracle & Cassandra. Excellent knowledge of SQLExcellent written and verbal English communication skills to work in a Global teamSecondary / Desired QualificationsAgile, Lean Agile and/or Scaled Agile methodologies:Knowledge of Java, ReactJS, Spring & Spring Boot frameworkFamiliarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and modern version control for use in continuous deploymentsExperience with visualization tools like Kibana and Grafana (EFK stack experience preferred)DescriptionResponsible for all aspects of technical projects/problems including but not all around production defects, enhancements, audit findings, reporting, requests, analysis and vendor managementProjects/Problems are typically high value short term strategic projects that involve defects or enhancing technology, are highly complex and require tight coordination and integration with multiple internal Cricket partners as well as multiple external organizations and suppliersResponsible for providing overall direction and technical or analytical guidance of the project/problem to teams that span multiple internal and external organizationsTakes action to direct problem analysis to resolutionWorks as a team member within Problem Management to (1) run individual small projects (2) complete those projects within an allotted/collaborative timeline and (3) understand/document initial description of the problem, impact(financial, fraud, customer experience etc), root cause analysis (RCA), resolution and validationIdentifies key internal/external partners and stakeholders necessary for project/problem completion and work with those partners to understand and document overall strategy for execution of the projects/problemsAdvanced skills/experience in Excel, Power Point, Visio, and other various analytic applications. Experience with SQL, mS, and programming background are a plusImplement and enhance Automation framework for delivery of web applications using Java, J2EE, Jenkins, Maven, Unix.Provide infrastructure support to Developers and QA including Linux
