Packaging 3rd Shift

PackagingWage: $17.91-$19.91 per hourShift: 3rdHours: 8:00pm-6:00am (Mon-Thurs)Join a dynamic packaging team in a food manufacturing environment, where you'll contribute to the efficient and safe production of high-quality products. This role offers hands-on experience in food packaging operations with opportunities for growth within a supportive team. This is a 3rd shift position located in Monroe, WI with the opportunity for hire.Packaging Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate and set up packaging line machinery including tapers, cutters, labelers, and scales.Load machines, apply labels, and assist in bagging and scaling products.Box and palletize finished products according to safety and quality standards.Perform cutting tasks using small paring knives as needed.Conduct sanitation duties, including cleaning and chemical handling, in compliance with safety protocols.Report unsafe conditions or practices to plant management.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Assist with the use of powered pallet lift trucks when applicable.Maintain personal hygiene standards and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Packaging Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and squatting throughout shifts.Capable of frequently lifting up to 40 lbs. and working on knees or ladders for inspections and cleaning.Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and wearing PPE such as aprons, bump caps, chemical-resistant gloves, rubber boots, ear plugs, face shields, and safety glasses.Must be able to work on-site in a wet, sometimes cool and noisy environment.No prior experience required, but previous manufacturing or sanitation experience is helpful.About Us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
