Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position in Iowa, requiring a minimum of 3 years of progressive care or med/surg experience and active EPIC EMR proficiency.Job Details• Work setting is a hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown unit,• Patient population includes a wide variety of med/surg and stepdown acuity cases,• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days/evenings and 1:6 on nights,• Floating is required between Med/Surg and Stepdown units,• Epic EMR is used; experience is required,• Scrub colors required: black or navy,Job Requirements• Active Iowa (IA) RN license or compact/multistate RN license required at time of consideration,• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required,• Active ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required,• Minimum 36 months of progressive care, stepdown, or med/surg experience required,• Experience administering and titrating vasoactive/cardiac drips including nitroglycerin, heparin, and amiodarone required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Stepdown experience preferred,• Neurology and/or oncology care experience preferred,• Critical care experience is a plus,• Driver's license required for consideration,• One supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred,Additional Information• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position,• Travelers must be available to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day,• Local radius rule applies: candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a modified pay rate,
