Job Description Diesel Technician – Diesel Pros (Hurst, TX) Diesel Pros in Hurst, TX is hiring a Diesel Technician to join a shop built around experience, respect for your time, and real-world diesel work. We focus on keeping medium- and heavy-duty trucks on the road, and we're looking for technicians who can step in, get to work, and handle a wide range of repairs without micromanagement. This role is ideal for an experienced tech who wants steady hourly pay, challenging jobs, and a shop that values quality work over rushed flat-rate numbers. What You'll Be Doing:Repair and maintain medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucksPerform work ranging from oil changes and PMs to cab-off engine resealsRepair suspension systems, electrical issues, oil leaks, and transmissionsPerform routing and general repair services as neededHandle minor diagnostics to identify and complete repairs efficientlyInspect vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and quality standards are metCommunicate repair needs and labor estimates with managementKeep your workspace clean, safe, and professional What We're Looking For:5+ years of diesel technician experience preferred, minimum of 2 years diesel experience requiredStrong hands-on experience with medium- and/or heavy-duty trucksComfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for helpMust have your own toolsReliable, detail-oriented, and professional in a shop environmentTakes pride in doing the job right the first time Pay & Schedule:Hourly pay — not flat ratePay based on experience levelMonday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PMOne-hour lunchWeekends rarely Why Diesel Pros?Diesel Pros was recently purchased by new ownership with a clear focus on work-life balance and creating a shop where people actually enjoy coming to work.
