Our teams are made up of talented and creative individuals, and as our company expands, we are constantly seeking to welcome more members to our team!The Online Auction Support Specialist plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting our live koi fish sales through online auction platforms such as Whatnot. This position focuses on the logistical and operational side of live sales, ensuring customer orders are accurate, properly documented, and prepared for fulfillment.Working closely with the Fish Photographer and Fish Team, this role supports live auction events in real time while also assisting with hands-on fish handling, order verification, and shipping coordination. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position ideal for someone who thrives in live environments and enjoys blending operational work with hands-on team collaboration.ResponsibilitiesSupport live koi fish auctions on Whatnot by managing order logistics during and after live salesVerify customer orders for accuracy, including: correct fish selection, bundle purchases, customer information and shipping detailsTrack and organize sold fish to ensure each order is correctly assigned and documentedCommunicate in real time with internal team members during live auctions to support smooth operationsAssist with fish handling during live sales, including moving, staging, and identifying sold fishCoordinate with the Fish Team to ensure sold fish are properly removed from tanks and prepared for shipmentSupport packaging, labeling, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timelinessMaintain clear records related to sales, inventory, and fulfillmentHelp maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment during live sales and daily operationsCollaborate closely with the Fish Photographer and Fish Team, with flexibility to cross-support roles as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in fast-paced environmentsComfortable working with live sales, real-time order tracking, and logisticsAbility to stay organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple team members during live eventsComfortable working hands-on with live fish and in aquatic environmentsAbility to work cross-functionally and adapt quickly during live salesPhysical requirements including standing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 poundsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent – requiredAvailability for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and peak sales periods – requiredExperience with e-commerce platforms, live selling, or online auctions – a plusFamiliarity with koi, aquatics, or fish handling – a plusPosition SalaryFull-Time | $18.00 - $22.00/ hourSchedule & AvailabilityThis role requires a flexible and variable schedule based on live auction events and business needsAvailability on Saturdays is requiredAdditional evening, weekend, and peak-season hours will be required based on live sale schedulingWeekly hours may vary depending on auction volume and operational needsBenefits401k and company matchDental InsuranceMedical InsuranceVision InsuranceEmployee company discountHigh-growth and promotion opportunities!
