We are looking to hire a Sonographer!As a Sonographer at MercyOne, you will:Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related recordsProvide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studiesProvide technical instruction to students and hospital staffKnow, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisionsSchedule:Per Diem (PRN)General Requirements:Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also acceptedMaintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment)Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafterColleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!
