Job Title: Senior IT Cloud Engineer (Product Operations Lead – Cloud Services) Position Type: Contract (W2) Pay Range: $75–$80/hour (W2) Location: Remote (Rochester, MN 55902) Shift: Standard Business Hours (Preference for CT Time Zone) On-Call: As per enterprise cloud support needs (if applicable) Equipment: Cloud Platforms (Azure, GCP), Agile Tools (Jira/Similar), Microsoft Office Suite Required Education & Certifications (Mandatory) • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience OR Associate’s Degree with 7 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience (ALL must include leadership experience) • Cloud Engineering Certification (REQUIRED) • Must have demonstrated experience in large, complex enterprise environments Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory) • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (REQUIRED) • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (REQUIRED) • Strong experience in Product Operations / Cloud Delivery / Execution Management (REQUIRED) • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and sprint-based delivery models (REQUIRED) • Experience coordinating across engineering, architecture, operations, security, and finance teams • Ability to translate cloud strategy/roadmap into executable work items • Strong communication skills with senior leadership and executive stakeholders • Experience working in large-scale enterprise IT/cloud environments • Strong organizational, prioritization, and coordination skills • Experience supporting multi-team cloud programs (Azure, GCP, AI/ML, HPC, shared cloud platforms) • Ability to ensure work tracking, alignment, and delivery consistency across teams Preferred Skills & Experience • Cloud certifications (Azure / GCP / AWS additional advantage) • Healthcare industry experience (preferred, not required) • Experience with DevOps / CI-CD environments • Experience in cloud governance, cost optimization, or enterprise cloud operating models Job Description / Project This role functions as a Product Operations Lead within a Cloud Services organization , supporting execution of enterprise cloud strategy across Azure and GCP environments.
